Residual traffic and business disruptions are possible in Moscow on Tuesday, February 5, after a series of hoax bomb threats forced the evacuation of some 20,000 residents. According to local sources, the bomb threats targeted some 90 shopping malls, schools, office buildings, government buildings, hospitals, and universities. Similar bomb threats were also reported on Tuesday in St. Petersburg. A heightened security presence is to be expected in these areas over the coming hours.
