The South African Communist Party (SACP) is planning to hold a rally outside of the US Consulate General in Cape Town on Friday, February 8, to protest alleged imperialist interference in Venezuelan internal matters. Protesters are expected to gather near the Steenberg Road entrance from 11:00 until 14:00 (local time). Localized traffic disruptions are expected around the consulate.


Individuals in Cape Town are advised to avoid all protests and demonstrations as a precaution and budget additional time to reach their destination if traveling through the affected area.
