On Saturday, February 9, weather officials issued orange alerts (the second-highest on a four-tier scale) for 18 departments in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Grand Est regions due to the passage of Storm Isaias. The orange alerts are expected to remain in effect from 19:00 (local time) on Saturday, until 15:00 on Sunday, February 10. Winds of up to 100 km/h (60 mph) are expected along with localized gusts of up to 110 km/h (68 mph). Related transportation disruptions, hazardous driving conditions, and power outages are possible.
