Employees of the BVG public transportation company in Berlin plan to launch a strike from 03:00 to 12:00 (local time) on Friday, February 15, to denounce perceived poor working conditions and to demand bonuses. The strike will affect all U-Bahn services, including bus, tram, and subway services. Widespread transportation disruptions are to be expected throughout Berlin if the strike proceeds as planned.

Furthermore, a related rally is expected to take place in front of the BVG headquarters on Holzmarktstrasse on Friday. According to organizers, at least 4000 participants are expected to attend the rally.
