Event

Truckers from across Canada will converge in Ottawa (Ontario province) in more than 100 semi-trailer trucks on Tuesday, February 19, and Wednesday, February 20, to participate in the  "#UnitedWeRoll" demonstration. Protesters will meet in Arnprior and depart the Antrim truck stop on Tuesday morning (local time). They are expected to arrive at Parliament Hill around 11:00 on Tuesday. City authorities will close Wellington Street from Kent Street to Elgin Street to accommodate the protesters. Following the rally, the truckers plan to meet at the Hard Rock Casino in south Ottawa. A similar protest is scheduled for 10:00 on Wednesday. Transportation disruptions are expected near Parliament Hill and around the vicinity of the convoy.
