Health authorities in Toronto (Ontario province) have issued an extreme cold warning for the city until further notice ahead of forecast frigid temperatures on Sunday night (local time), March 3, into Monday, March 4. Overnight temperatures are forecast to dip to -17°C (1.4°F) with wind chills as low as -24°C (-11.2°F). Authorities will open a warming center at Metro Hall by 19:00 on Sunday.
