Suspected anarchists reportedly threw Molotov cocktails at the Turkish Consulate and clashed with police in Thessaloniki on Monday morning (local time), March 4. Police responded with tear gas to repel the attackers. Further attacks against the Turkish Consulate and other foreign missions are possible in coming weeks. 


Greek anarchist groups have perpetrated several attacks on the Turkish mission in Thessaloniki in recent months and have targeted other state institutions and foreign embassies.
