French customs officials extended their strike until at least Sunday, March 24. Significant disruptions are expected along all border crossings, particularly at Calais, Dunkirk, and Gare du Nord in Paris. Eurostar train services are affected, and several trains have been canceled. Eurostar officials have urged passengers to postpone nonessential travel until after the strike. Delays at cross-channel ferries and the channel tunnel have been reported, resulting in increased traffic congestion in Kent (UK). Disruptions are also possible at airports across the country, including Paris.
