Intense thunderstorms in southern Nepal on Sunday night (local time), March 31, left at least 25 people dead and injured around 400 others. The storm hit Bara district with strong wind and heavy rain, resulting in injures and damage from storm debris. Power outages and road closures from fallen trees were reported and associated disruptions are expected in the coming hours and days.
