Bus drivers from the EMEL public transportation company in Limassol have launched an indefinite strike on Tuesday, April 2, over unpaid salaries and benefits. A related gatherings was held at the bus terminal at the Limassol Old Hospital earlier in the day (local time). As such, transportation disruptions and related protests are to be anticipated in Limassol in the coming days.


Travelers in Limassol are advised to confirm their travel itineraries and to budget extra time to reach their destinations.
