India-based Jet Airways has announced that it will cancel all of its international flights through Monday, April 15, amid ongoing financial difficulties. The National Aviators Guild (NAG), representing Jet Airways pilots, has declared that its members will march to the airline's headquarters in Mumbai on Monday and hold a protest at the site.
Additional flight disruptions (e.g. flight delays and cancelations) are possible on the airline over the coming days and weeks. A heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are to be expected around the demonstration.
Individuals traveling via Jet Airways are advised to monitor developments to the situation, confirm flight reservations, contact the airline for more information, and make alternative travel arrangements, if necessary. Avoid all related demonstrations as a precaution.
