Police in Madrid lifted evacuation orders at the Torre Espacio skyscraper at approximately 14:15 (local time) on Tuesday, April 16, after determining a bomb threat made against the building was false. The building, which houses the British, Australian, Canadian, and Dutch embassies, has reportedly reopened.

A heightened security presence and transportation disruptions are to be expected in the Almenara area over the coming hours as an investigation into the origin of the threat continues.

Individuals in the affected area are advised to monitor developments to the situation, avoid the area surrounding the skyscraper, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities (security cordons, evacuation orders, etc.).
