A shooting incident during a protest outside the Youkous mineral water factory left 13 people wounded in the town of Hammamet (eastern Algeria) on Sunday, April 28. According to police, an employee opened fire on protesters who were demanding better access to drinking water. Demonstrators have reportedly set fire to tyres and a water sales truck outside the factory.
