Filipino budget airline Cebu Pacific announced on Monday, April 29, that it will cancel at least 58 round-trip flights from Wednesday, May 1, through Friday, May 10. Cebu Pacific’s affiliated airline Cebgo will also be affected by the cancelations. Up to 10,000 passengers may be impacted by the service disruptions. According to the airline, the flights were canceled to improve time performance and to reduce extended delays that travelers were experiencing. A full schedule of the flight changes can be found on the Cebu Pacific website.
Cebu Pacific had previously canceled 44 flights between April 28-29 due to an “unprecedented level of disruption” to their operation. According to the airline, further schedule adjustments for June and the following months are being reviewed.
Potentially impacted travelers are advised to confirm flight reservations prior to departure to the airport and to contact the airline for additional information.
