Transportation disruptions and demonstrations are to anticipated amid the Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit in Tirana from Wednesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 9. Leaders from several regional countries - including Albania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Poland - and the EU High Representative will attend the summit to discuss EU integration and accession of Western Balkan states. 


Individuals in Tirana are advised to adhere to all instructions (e.g. road closures, vehicle restrictions, etc.) issued by local authorities and anticipate heightened security presence and transportation disruptions, including road closures and checkpoints.
