Violent clashes have been reported in Béoumi (Vallée du Bandama district) on Wednesday, May 15. Local reports claim fighting broke out between two groups of moto-taxi drivers which resulted in property destruction as the groups set fire to several shops. Police and gendarmes reinforcements deployed to the area subsequently dispersed the crowds; however, tensions remain high.
