The Red Star stadium in Belgrade will host a soccer match between Red Star Belgrade and rival club Partizan at 19:00 (local time) on Thursday, May 23. Up to 53,000 people are anticipated to attend the match.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the stadium. Clashes between supporters cannot be ruled out.

Riot police broke up clashes between rival groups of hooligans during the April 2018 meeting between Red Star and Partizan. In the December 2017 match between the two sides, clashes between supporters resulted in over 20 injuries.

Individuals in Belgrade are advised to avoid the area around Red Star stadium as a precaution.
