The "No A Keiko" activist group is calling for a demonstration in Lima on Tuesday, May 28, to call for the dissolution of Congress and the implementation of political reforms. The demonstration is planned for 18:00 (local time) on Tuesday at Plaza San Martín and will culminate with a protest march to the National Parliament building. A similar protest is planned for Iquitos (Loreto region) at the Plaza 28 de Julio; associated demonstrations are possible in other cities. Heightened security presence is and associated disruptions to businesses and transportation are likely.
