Police forces have evacuated the Brussels-North rail station in Brussels as of 15:30 (local time) on Monday, May 27, due tu an ongoing security operation following a bomb threat. Authorities have established a police cordon and restricted road access in the area surrounding the train station. No trains are currently stopping or departing from the station.

A heightened security presence and road closures are to be expected in the affected area over the coming hours. Further details are still emerging.
