Violent demonstrations have been reported near Universidad Pedagógica Nacional in Bogotá on Tuesday afternoon (local time), May 28. Security forces reportedly used tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets to disperse demonstrators, who threw projectiles at police on Calle 72. Esmad riot police deployed to the area subsequently closed Calle 72 between Carrera 9 and Carrera 15
