On Thursday, May 30, a businesswoman was kidnapped from Stapleton Road in Pinetown (KwaZulu-Natal). Unidentified men reportedly forced the victim off the road before firing shots at her car and forcing her out. The victim was then pushed into a vehicle and driven away.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the kidnapping.
