The Taoyuan Flight Attendants Union (TFAU) announced the approval of a strike for members working with EVA Air on Friday, June 7. According to the union, 2949 out of 3276 members voted to proceed with a strike. The dates of the strike are still unknown and negotiations with EVA Airlines have continued. Significant flight disruptions are expected for the duration of the strike.    


EVA Air is the second largest Taiwanese carrier with 79 aircraft serving 64 destinations globally.


Individuals flying with EVA Air are advised to monitor developments to the situation, maintain flexible itineraries, confirm their flight status, and seek alternative modes of transportation in the event of a strike.
