Air Namibia has announced the suspension of several regional and domestic flights from Monday, June 10, due to a lack of liquidity caused by an ongoing court case against the company. The company has suspended all flights on its Windhoek-Luanda route, decreased flights on the Windhoek-Johannesburg route from three to one per day, as well as the flights to Cape Town from three to two per day.
Further cancelations or reduced flight operations are possible in the coming weeks.
Individuals flying Air Namibia are advised to confirm their flight status, make alternate travel plans if necessary, contact the airline for more information regarding flights and refund or rebooking options, and anticipate further flight cancelations and congestion on operating flights.
