Amtrak announced on Friday, June 14, that service on the Missouri River Runner line between St. Louis and Kansas City (Missouri state) has been restored. Service was suspended in recent weeks due to flooding along the rail line. The Missouri Department of Transportation and Amtrak indicate residual delays and adjusted service schedules are to be expected as service resumes over the coming days.
