Multiple suspected vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs) exploded in Mogadishu on the afternoon (local time) of Saturday, June 15. The first blast occurred at approximately 13:12 near the Ministry of Internal Security. A second explosion was reported near KM4/Sayidka Junction at 13:19. There is unconfirmed reports of small arms fire near the blast sites. Details are still emerging; avoid the area.
