The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) party is slated to stage a demonstration in Lahore on Sunday, June 16, to highlight socioeconomic grievances, including unemployment and inflation. The Kissan Board Pakistan (KBP) has announced its intention to join the demonstration to protest the government's agricultural policies.
