Brazil's Ministry of Tourism will eliminate tourist visa requirements for citizens of Australia, Canada, Japan, and the US effective Monday, June 17. Visitors will be able to enter the country for up to 90 days and are able to request an extension for a total of 180 days within a 12-month period. American visitors are also able to purchase a two-year visa on arrival for USD 44.
Individuals traveling to Brazil are advised to confirm visa and entry requirements.
