Numerous flight cancelations and delays have been reported at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) on the evening (local time) of Wednesday, June 19. Unconfirmed reports claim the airport's only active runway sustained damaged on Wednesday, leading to a temporary halt in all flight operations. The airport's second runway is currently inactive due to construction work.

Flight operations have reportedly resumed at BUD as of 20:00, subject to severe disruptions. Some inbound flights have reportedly been diverted to Bratislava (Slovakia) and Vienna (Austria). Lingering flight disruptions are to be expected at BUD over the coming hours.
