Various French LGBTIQI+ groups are holding a Pride parade in Paris on Saturday, June 29, to support equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and intersex people. The parade will begin at 14:00 (local time) from Place du 18 Juin 1940, proceed to Port Royale, join Luxembourg, Saint Michel, Châtelet, and Strasbourg Saint-Denis, and terminate at Place de la République. A celebration, Grand Podium de fin de Marche, will then take place from 17:00 to 22:00.

Heightened security measures and associated traffic disruptions are expected around all Pride events. Counterdemonstrations are also possible amid the celebrations.
