Transport for London (TfL) announced at approximately 09:20 (local time) on the morning of Monday, June 24, that the Victoria underground station in London has reopened. Officials closed the station at approximately 06:33 after a fire alert was triggered. According to TfL, the alarm was set off by faulty equipment and the problem has been fixed. Residual transportation delays are expected over the coming hours. 


Individuals in London or traveling on the Victoria line are advised to anticipate residual transportation disruptions, including congestion and delays, and increased demand for taxis.
