Local sources indicate an unidentified individual posted a threat to an online message board on Tuesday, June 25, claiming a man wearing a neon shirt would attack the Grand-Place at 18:00 (local time). Police have not confirmed the credibility of the claim and an investigation of the threat is underway. 

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected at the Grand-Place over the coming hours.
