Widespread rainfall of up to 10 cm (4 in) is expected on Thursday to add to the very heavy rainfall from the past several days. As of 11:30 (local time), flight delays for departing and arriving aircraft at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) have been reported. Train service between Mumbai and Pune has been suspended or diverted due to a derailment. Further flooding and associated disruptions, including road closures and transportation disruptions, power outages, and infrastructure damage, are possible in the coming hours and days.
