A heightened security presence is expected over the coming hours as the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) political party stages a rally at the Rachid Karameh International Fair in Tripoli on Saturday, July 6. Foreign Minister and Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) chief Jebran Bassil led the political rally amid increased tensions. Clashes broke out between FPM supporters and rival political supporters amid Bassil's visit to the city of Qabr Chamoun on Sunday, June 30. Localized traffic disruptions are also to be expected in the vicinity of the rally site.
