Armenia reportedly lost power on Wednesday, July 10. According to local media reports, the cause of the blackout is due to technical issues at Yerevan and Razdan thermal power plants. The power outage is resulting in several disruptions, including to metro services, water supply, and payment systems, and is likely to persist until at least early evening (local time) on Wednesday.

Individuals in Armenia, are advised to monitor the situation, keep battery-operated devices fully charged whenever possible, and to be cautious when driving or crossing streets if traffic signals are not functioning.
