New Zealand announced new entry requirements for Canadians traveling into the country without a visa will come into effect on October 1, 2019. The new rule requires all Canadians without a valid New Zealand visa to obtain an electronic travel authority before entering the country, including those transiting to another country. Currently, there are no visa requirements for Canadian tourists, who may stay for up to 90 days. More information on the travel authority can be found here.
Individuals traveling to or through New Zealand are advised to confirm their entry requirements and comply with all directives.
