Local officials announce on Tuesday, July 23 that diesel-powered vehicles with five cylinder and greater will be banned from using certain roads in Berlin. The decision comes as an environmentally friendly policy to reduce pollution in key areas for its clean air plan. The plan is to be implemented sometime between August and September.  


Individuals present in Berlin are advised to follow developments to the situation and abide by all instructions issued by the authorities.
