An outage affecting the aircraft fuel supplier at Amsterdam International Airport Schiphol (AMS) has resulted in severe flight disruptions on Wednesday, July 24, with at least 250 flight delays and 440 cancelations reported as of 21:00 (local time). According to officials, AMS's fuel supplier is experiencing electrical issues with its systems and is unable to provide the fuel needed to facilitate the departure of flights. The supplier indicated it is not immediately clear when its operations would resume, although airport authorities have indicated that disruptions are expected to persist through the morning hours of Thursday, July 25.
