A suspected improvised explosive device (IED) detonation wounded at least five police personnel in Huechuraba (Santiago province) on Thursday, July 25. Officials indicate an unidentified assailant placed the IED inside the 54th police station on Av. Recoleta on Thursday afternoon (local time). Security forces have cordoned off the area as an investigation into the incident continues.
