TIMEFRAME expected from 8/2/2019, 12:00 AM until 8/3/2019, 11:59 PM (Europe/London). COUNTRY/REGION London

The Jubilee line on the London Underground has reopened as of Friday evening (local time), August 2, after reports of loud bangs onboard a Jubilee line train at Waterloo Station earlier on Friday prompted the station's evacuation and closure. No suspicious objects or activity was found during the associated investigation, according to British Transport Police; the loud noises are suspected to have been the result of an operational issue with the train.

Residual delays are to be expected on the Jubilee line over the coming hours.

Individuals in London are advised to monitor developments, report suspicious objects and activity to police, and prepare for residual disruptions on the Jubilee line over the coming hours.
