Three ferries capsized in the Iloilo Strait (Western Visayas region) on Sunday, August 3, leaving at least seven people dead. The ferries, traveling between Guimaras and Iloilo provinces, reportedly capsized due to severe weather. Authorities have rescued at least 31 people from the strait.
