As of Monday, August 12, flight disruptions have been reported at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) due to a baggage handling system crash in the departure area. At least 37 flights were delayed, while several passengers had to travel without their luggage. Airport authorities claimed the problem was being taken care of, while advising passengers to only carry on things they need for their travel.
Further flight disruptions are excepted at TLV in the coming hours.
Individuals flying through TLV are advised to monitor the situation, allow additional time to travel, and anticipate disruptions to airport operation.
