Authorities have announced the suspension of mobile services on Tuesday, August 13, for 24-hours in ten areas of Jaipur (Rajasthan State), including Galta Gate and Ramganj. The decision came after clashes took place in the Delhi highway on Monday, August 12. Buses heading to Haridwar were attacked with stones, leaving dozens of people, including policemen, injured. Police forces used teargas to disperse crowds around buses.
The police is investigating the incident. A heightened security presence has been reported in Ramganj, Transport Nagar, and Galta Gate areas.
Individuals in the affected areas are advised to monitor the situation and make alternative arrangements for communications during the Internet suspensions.
