An explosion has been reported in the PD06 area of Kabul on the evening (local time) of Saturday, August 17. The blast is suspected of being an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting the Shahr-e-Dubai wedding hall, with unconfirmed reports of at least 10 people killed. A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruption are expected near the scene of the explosion.
