An explosion was reported during the early morning hours (local time) of Sunday, August 25, in southern Beirut. According to Hezbollah officials, the blast was caused by a drone exploding in the Moawwad neighborhood, causing minor damages. A second drone was reportedly downed in Dahieh. Hezbollah claims that the aircraft belong to Israel, but the claims have not been independently verified; the Israeli military has also refused to comment on the reports. Details are still emerging.
