Police have ordered the evacuation of Aarhus Airport (AAR) in Tirstrup as of 19:45 (local time) on Tuesday, September 10, following the discovery of a suspicious object. According to airport officials, all flight operations have been temporarily suspended until further notice. Police reinforcements have been deployed to the airport. Further details are still emerging.

A heightened security presence and flight disruptions (i.e. delays and cancelations) are to be expected at AAR over the coming hours.
