Several explosions at a Turkish arms depot in Catalkoy caused property damage at the nearby Acapulco Hotel on Thursday, September 12. The series of explosions began at 01:30 (local time) and ended at around 05:00 and hotel guests were evacuated to a safe area. No injuries were reported. Authorities indicated that the fire was contained by early morning.

Business and transportation disruptions are possible due to the damage.
