Crew members of Korea Train Express (KTX) and the Super Rapid Train (SRT) went on strike Wednesday, September 11, calling for a wage increase and direct employment by the state-run railway operator. Though maintenance of minimum levels of train service is required, reduced services, delays, and cancelations are expected on KTX and SRT rail services across the country through Monday.
