Flight operations at Mexico City International Airport (MEX) will be temporarily suspended on Monday, September 16, between 10:00 and 13:15 (local time). The closure coincides with a military parade taking place in the capital to commemorate Mexico's Independence Day. No flights will take off or land at MEX during the stoppage period. 

Residual flight disruptions and delays are possible at MEX on the day of the closure. 


Individuals flying via MEX are advised to monitor developments, prepare for lingering flight delays, and contact their airline for more information before coming to the airport.
