Hundreds of farmers are expected to march into New Delhi in the morning (local time) on Saturday, September 21, as part of a protest against low crop prices and unpaid wages. The group began the march in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) on Tuesday, September 17, and reportedly arrived in Noida (Uttar Pradesh) in the afternoon on Friday, September 20. Protesters will gather in Noida at 07:00 on Saturday and march to Kisan Ghat in New Delhi, where they plan to hold a rally at 09:00.

A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions, including heavy traffic and road closures, are expected in the vicinity of the protest.  


Individuals in Delhi are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all demonstrations as a precaution, anticipate a heightened security presence and transportation delays, and adhere to instructions issued by local authorities.
