On Wednesday, September 25, Israel's Counter-Terrorism Bureau issued a warning for its citizens against travel to neighboring countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Iran, and Turkey, during the Jewish New Year holiday season, from Sunday, September 29, to Tuesday, October 1. The warning comes, "in anticipation of military operations against Israeli tourists by Iran or Hezbollah."


Israeli nationals are advised to consult government guidelines on travel to the region following the implementation of the new restrictions.
